Who is Alexis Metro?

Hey there! I am Alexis Metro. Currently, I am a Freshman at High Point University studying Sports Media. I am originally from Charlotte, NC, recently my family moved to Rock Hill, SC.

Growing up my dad and I would make sure to take a trip to see the New Orleans Saints play an away game. We would go to different places they were playing to take time to explore the location and see out favorite sports team play. This is where my love for sports, specifically NFL and NCAA Basketball. Not only did this trip grow my love for sports, but it grew my love for travel as well.

Through High School trying to discover how I wanted to be involved in a sports related career was a journey. I started with sports medicine and struggled to view the graphic sights. How could I work with sports without playing it and being a part of the blood and bones? Through ruling out what my mind couldn't handle I found myself interested in one of the most up and coming fields of today: Social Media.

One day, I want to be able to work for a college level or professional level sports team. My goal is to become a social media or public relations related career.
